Recently, Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs. Funnybones on Twitter decided to crack a joke about Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The Art of Living founder had said some time ago that Malala Yousafzai did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.
So Twinkle tweeted: “Sri Sri got his nobel foot and half beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose that Baba Ramdev perfected a while ago #HolyMenAndHairyTales.”
And in no time, Sri Sri’s million followers attacked her over her tweet and started trolling her.
The International Director of the foundation Darshak Hathi tweeted to her saying: “Millions of followers r going 2 boycott #Houseful3 4 hurting the sentiments by inappropriate and ill intended comments @mrsfunnybones on Sri Sri.”
All these comments made Twinkle delete her tweet and she even apologized for it. She wrote, “Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings was meant to be a joke and am old enough to accept an error of judgement on my part.”
A number of people came out to support her stance and she proved her point like a boss saying, “Art of living teacher practising Art of intimidation? Didn't like my joke diss me-drag my husband,boycott etc #Shame.”
