Recently, a leading daily had quoted Naseeruddin Shah saying, “A person who has never lived in Kashmir has started a fight for Kashmiri Pandits. Suddenly, he has become a displaced person.” The statement appeared to be a dig at Anupam Kher’s ongoing campaign for Kashmiri pandits.
But all now appears to be well between the two veteran actors as Anupam Kher was quoted saying, "I have contacted Naseeruddin Shah. He has denied making such statements. He told me when I have never said all this for so many years then why will I say now?"
Naseeruddin Shah was later quoted saying, "I don't want to say anything. I don't want to give any reaction. This is misreporting." More-Info
