Fans across the world who raved about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback to films in Sanjay's Gupta's Jazbaa are
not eagerly awaiting her next release, which is slightly different from
the former glamorous roles played by the most beautiful woman in the
world. Aishwarya will next be seen in a completely de-glam avatar as the
spirited sister Dalbir Kaur of Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh who was
accused of espionage in Pakistan and taken a prisoner across the border,
in the biopic titled Sarbjit.
Randeep Hooda plays Sarbjit Singh in the movie, but it is Aishwarya
Rai Bachchan who is the real hero of the film. As Sarabjit’s sister who
strives very hard and knocks at every door to get Sarbjit released,
this role could offer Ash the opportunity to showcase her acting
potential. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the actress gives a
stellar performance as a sister whose sole aim in life is to get her
brother released from a country that is not on friendly terms with the
nation.
In the first look poster of Sarbjit, Ash looks old and forlorn, yet her eyes still blaze with determination to get her brother out.
