With the suggested 89 cuts to the original film, Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab starring Shahid Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor may not remain recognisable to its makers. Thus, taking the Censor Board's suggestions into account the producers of the film Anurag Kashyap, Ekta Kapoor and company have reached out to the Bombay High Court against the Censor Board and the hearing is going to take place anytime soon.
In an article in The Times of India, producer Anurag Kashyap said, "I don't think that removing Punjab from Udta Punjab title is acceptable to any of us. They have asked us to remove the city names; they have asked us to remove MLA, MLC. All these things are told to us in person. He's not putting it on paper. The moment he puts those things on paper, we have the option to go on a trial."
The article also revealed that the CBFC - chaired by the BJP-appointed Pahlaj Nihalani - is said to have reportedly demanded an alteration of the narrative with as many as 89 cuts. The makers were apparently even asked to drop 'Punjab' from the title and suggested that the film be set in a fictitious setting instead of a particular state.
Will the creativity survive over censorship? We don't know yet, but we can surely tell that this film is different and quite intense, dealing with the subject of substance abuse. More-Info

The suicide of actress Jiah Khan and the involvement of alleged boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi has developed new twists and turns in the last three years, since the actress took her own life. The case turned into a murder trial with the actress's mother Rabia Khan accusing Sooraj of killing her daughter Jiah. Sooraj Pancholi's lawyer Prashant Patil recently wrote a letter to the Central Bureau of Investigation, Mumbai Police Commissioner and the Juhu police station regarding additional evidences in the case. Following which the Pancholi family are now making a case against Jiah Khan's mother for defaming the family.
A source revealed in the article, "In 2014, the Bombay High court had passed an order saying that no defamatory statements will be made against the Pancholi family in print, social or electronic media. Rabia, through her counsel, had agreed to abide by it. However she recently gave an interview to a website which was very defamatory. Therefore, Sooraj's family moved a contempt of court petition against her on Monday."
Upon being contacted by the publication, Prashant Patil said, "My clients Zarina Wahab, Aditya Pancholi and Sana Pancholi had moved a defamation suit for Rs 100 crore against Rabia Khan in June 2014. On July 16, 2014 the High Court granted a favourable order wherein, Rabia Khan made a statement that she shall not use defamatory language against my clients on any social, print or electronic media. This statement was confirmed on June 10, 2015 and the notice of motion was disposed off. However, even after making such statements before the Bombay High Court and a specific order by the High Court, it is unfortunate that Rabia Khan has indulged in passing defamatory and lewd remarks against my clients through her Twitter account and interviews, thus compelling my clients to move the High Court for judicial intervention and contempt proceedings." Have you ever been in school with a celebrity's child? Or rather have your children ever been in the same class as a superstar’s kid? Well, this is a very coveted position as explained by one mother who's daughter was in the same class as superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan.
An article in Pinkvilla recently published an open letter written by US-based journalist Preeti Singh which was also posted on a popular website. This is what she had to say about the Khans! Read on:

"Last week, my Facebook timeline lit up with pictures and videos of the graduation ceremony of my daughter's erstwhile class in Mumbai. When I saw the chief guest, I smiled. It had to be him. Shah Rukh Khan. No one deserved it more because he and his family were at the centre of our little universe in that school, and we were his "Jabra fans".

But first, a flashback to 2003.

"Look, Shah Rukh Khan's wife is here. That means Aryan is going to be our kids' classmate," commented an excited father as we took the conducted tour through the new school our five-year-olds were joining. I had been gushing over the clean bathrooms - with toilet paper, soap, paper towels and an attendant. As someone who went to schools with toilets so dirty that I have suffered from digestive problems ever since, I was thrilled that my children would be spared the agony.

I turned to see Gauri Khan. Of course I knew her face; as SRK's wife, she was almost as famous and frequently photographed as her Bollywood husband. As a Dilliwala (as I called myself then), there was a certain possessive pride about SRK... the Delhi boy who came to Mumbai and conquered it. In her dark glasses, Gauri stood alone with her son, until she met some other Bollywood friends and started chatting. Covertly and overtly, all of us watched Gauri. How she talked, what she wore and if she looked arrogant or friendly. No one, including me, dared to walk up to her to make introductions, like we had been doing with the other parents. It could be a very public snub.

I didn't know it then, but the next decade that my children attended school with SRK's children would be eventful. Not only because the school was exceptionally good. Or that the library, bright classrooms, cheerful artworks, and yes, the clean bathrooms made the school a happy place to be. Not only because the school ensured safety of our kids at all times, and the teachers were dedicated and worked harder than anyone I ever knew.

The pixie dust that made everything look even better, shinier was SRK. In that school, there were many celebrity parents - other Bollywood stars, legendary sportspersons, super-rich business families and top professionals, but SRK was SRK - the first among equals. While SRK and Gauri had no clue who I and dozens of other parents were, their pixie dust changed our lives. Some mothers lost weight to dress up like Gauri, some planned their holidays or bought holiday homes close to the Khans, and others did everything in their power to get their kids to be friends with the Khan kids. And the outside world thought we were royalty too, and best friends with the Khans.

One afternoon my daughter came back with a birthday card from SRK's son. The party was at Mannat (SRK's house on Bandstand), and I called on the number provided. Gauri answered the phone. She was sweet, polite, and told me to drop the child at 4.30pm and have her picked up by 7.30pm. Yes, I could send a maid along. That afternoon my phone pinged non-stop. Who was going to the party? One mother said, "My child will cry if I let her go alone. So I will have to go." Another's driver was going to be on leave that day and she was driving him all the way from Cuffe Parade, so she would have to attend the party. Yet another would go because her son was Aryan's bestie.

I had learned my lesson. I assume Gauri told every parent the same thing, making it clear that only kids were invited, because the mothers hung out at the Cafe Coffee Day on Bandstand while their children attended the party that evening. And many of these were townie mothers, who thought anything beyond Prabhadevi was Oh So Far.

Soon enough, boys and girls did what they do at that age. They refused to hang out with each other. A whole new stream of gossip opened up among the girls' mothers - the boys' parents felt the Khan pressure. While the boys played and made friends, parents began to group up. The fight was subtle and full-fledged. Who would be Aryan's best friend? Who did he share confidences with? Who was doing the class project with him? Who would be invited for a sleepover, and later for the IPL matches? Mothers complained that others kept secrets from them, not revealing details of play dates and sleepovers because they wanted Aryan all alone with their sons.

When Aryan Khan left school in grade eight I felt terribly cheated. Bad timing, because boys and girls were beginning to be friends with each other. I had grand dreams that my daughter would be friends with Aryan Khan; like the mothers of other boys of the class, I would now become friends with Gauri, and exchange SMSes and notes about our kids. Maybe my daughter would go for the IPL matches and be photographed with the boy. I was deprived of that opportunity, and will never know what would have come of it.

The children were indifferent to the celebrityhood. Aryan was a classmate and a friend. All the aunties and uncles would bombard my daughter with questions, "So you are in Aryan's class. How is he? Is he naughty and ill-mannered? What does he like? Who are his friends? Have you been to his house? How are his parents?" Her standard response became, "I am not in his class. He is in MY class. And he is as ordinary as the rest of the boys." To her amusement, the questions followed her to the US as well, and in her new school, the desis wanted to know about SRK and his family.

On the fringe, I became a minor celebrity. Colleagues wanted to accompany me to school functions so they could chat with SRK. I made it clear that they could do what they liked, as long as I was not around. I was crazy about SRK but it would be undignified to behave star-struck.

Of course, the only person I could not have controlled was my own mother. She came for a sports day function and chatted up SRK while I was busy elsewhere. So far so good. Then my dear mother decided she wanted a picture with him. I tried to dissuade her, telling her that SRK would disappear as soon as the event was over. She said nothing. My husband and I collected our kids from their classes and I saw mom standing guard over SRK. He sat meekly next to her as she looked around for us. Before I could slip out of view, mom saw me and waved out. Resigned, I walked towards them. She told SRK that I had arrived; he stood up immediately, and chatted and posed happily for pictures with my mother. I was mortified as mothers of my daughter's classmates stood around laughing at my discomfort. While I took pictures, my daughter's face had turned deathly pale. She looked like she had seen a ghost. She skirted around SRK and by the time we reached our car, she was crying inconsolably. She had seen Kal Ho Na Ho the previous week and thought SRK was dead. I had to explain the difference between real and reel life to the distraught child. In the car I complained to my mother that I had been so embarrassed. Unfazed, my mother said, " At least I am honest, not hypocritical like you all. None of you were looking at your spouses in the race." She was right. When SRK participated in the parents' race, none of us noticed our husbands or friends huffing and puffing behind him. Our eyes were locked on SRK, and googly-eyed we had drooled, "Karan Johar knows how to make SRK run... he looks like a dream." And he really did.

Fringes of celebrityhood is a great place to be. Everyone thinks you lead a charmed life. You must be friends with the celebrities and have insights on and insider gossip about them. It is not true, but who was I to shatter those illusions? My knowledge was acquired from film magazines, gossip among my producer friends, air crew that had flown them, and other mothers whose kids were friends with the Khan kids.

The only time I ever talked to Gauri was when we were both waiting for our kids after school. She realised that our children were classmates, and asked me if I had put my daughter in any academic classes after school. I said "no". She enquired if I sent her to sports classes after school. I replied in the negative again and said that I believed in unstructured play. She asked if I spent time teaching her. I said "no", because I wasn't brought up by a helicopter parent. She sighed and said, "Thank god. I thought I was the weird one. But my mother let us be, and I let my kids alone as well." They would all grow up just fine, we both agreed.
She never acknowledged me after that conversation, but that day, I fell in love with Gauri as well. The Khans were parents like us all." More-Info

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover tied the knot recently amid much fanfare and produced some beautifully captured wedding photographs. Soon after the couple zipped away to their honeymoon to an island destination showing off the deep blue sea and their sun-kissed bodies on social media. The beautiful couple were the object of everyone's envy for days to come.
Back from her honeymoon, the actress recently graced the latest issue of Hi! Blitz magazine, and in a candid interview, spoke uninhibitedly about her marriage and the insecurities involved at a certain point. Bipasha Basu was earlier in a rather long live-un relationship with actor John Abraham. Basu dates several people after breaking up with John, but finally found true love in Karan Singh Grover.
Expressing her doubt in the concept of marriage when KSG first proposed to her, Bips says in the interview, "The first thing I said was, 'I'm not supposed to be married! Why do you want to marry me?' That was my reaction to his proposal. I just did not expect it, and I didn't even think I would get married...I guess I gave up hope. And we have something so beautiful that I was a little deep down scared to tamper it with big words like marriage. Because it's more about societal pressure and for the world."
We’re so happy they couple found love and we do wish them a lifetime of happiness. More-Info

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were Bollywood's IT couple until they called it quits a few months back after a relationship that lasted over six years. All of B-town was in shock wondering about the reasons for their separation. But the couple maintained a dignified silence and went on with their lives, honouring their work commitments, which even included working with each other just after their break-up. While this would seem impossible for most normal people, Ranbir and Katrina had to put up an act for all to see and attempted to recreate that lost magic and the romance, while probably hurting inside all the while.
Film buffs and critics will remember their project Jagga Jasoos for years to come as the film which they started working on while still in love, broke up in the middle and continued working on it post their break-up. The couple who shot in Morocco recently, have apparently developed a cordial working relationship and are giving it their best shot to Anurag Basu's much delayed project.
The ex-couple can be seen practicing their dance steps in this VIDEO, and they look rather cute together. There's even a slight smile on both their faces!
Do you think there’s a chance of those two getting back together?

After the recent break and turbulence in actor Ranbir Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut respective private lives, the grapevine was buzzing with rumours, linking the Jagga Jasoos star with the Queen actress, after word spread about their newly developed friendship a few weeks back. However, Ranbir Kapoor is totally miffed with these 'baseless' stories and he believes he knows who is behind them.
A source close to Ranbir, told DNA, "He is wondering where these rumours originated as there is no truth to it. Ranbir, who is shooting for Jagga Jasoos in Mumbai, since he has come back from Morocco, is in a state of shock over the spate of stories that have sprung out of nowhere in the last few months. He is upset that people are taking advantage of the fact that he doesn’t issue clarifications. There is no truth in the stories of Ranbir and Kangana’s affair, yet in a very systematic manner this is being spread in media. He knows who is behind these rumours and if this continues, he is considering issuing a strong denial this time."
Wonder if Ranbir will issue a statement soon revealing the person behind all this malice! More-Info

Trust Bollywood star Aamir Khan to plunge into the unknown with full devotion in search of perfection! The actor who is currently busy essaying the role of real life wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat from Haryana in his latest upcoming film Dangal is said to be all ready to explore the cosmos in his next adventure. No, we're not talking about Aamir Khan buying a ticket to SPACE on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic! Rather, Aamir is all set to enact the life of the first Indian cosmonaut Rakesh Sharma.
Biopics are currently trending in Bollywood and their enormous success at the box office only makes them more bankable. And as we know, Aamir is forever up for challenges, so the idea of venturing it into SPACE that hasn't been explored in the industry so far, seems like the most challenging subject for his next film. As the actor prepares for the promotions of his filmDangal, a source revealed to Bollywood Life, "Aamir will play Rakesh Sharma in his next film. He is all set to move from playing a pehalwan to now going out to the space."
India's first man in space, cosmonaut Rakesh Sharma was an Indian Air Force pilot who became a cosmonaut, also the first Indian to be a part of space programme by India’s ISRO and Russia’s Soviet Intercosmos. During a television conference from space with Moscow officials and Indira Gandhi, the then Indian Prime Minister, Sharma had won the hearts of his countrymen by giving a patriotic response to Indira Gandhi’s question. Deepika Padukone is by far probably the most successful actress the Hindi film industry has produced in all these years! While she hasn't really dipped her fingers in as many streams like her contemporary Priyanka Chopra, Dippy is still the most sought after Bollywood star that brands want to associate with. In fact, some think that her brand value is far higher and more attractive than that of the industry bigwigs like the Khans. Word around town is that Deepika has quoted a whopping Rs. 8 crore fee for a three-day shoot as the brand ambassador of an airline. Says a source in Bollywood Life, “She is currently in talks, through her brand team. The 8 crore tag is her asking price for a three-day shoot. It’s typically a certain number of days per year. For brand shoots, normally the payment is per day. Deepika charges 1-5 crore for a day. But 8 crore seems a bit high as only Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor command that kind of fee for endorsements. Among sportsmen, only MS Dhoni and now, Virat Kohli recently have started charging close to that figure.”

In the article published in Bollywood Life, the source adds that the negotiations are almost closed. “When Deepika’s team asked for that amount, they weren’t sure they would get it. But they have to constantly up the star’s price according to the market value and Deepika has had a fantastic year with Piku and Bajirao Mastani, so she is in the position to hike her fee. Whether the brand will pay her that amount, remains to be seen. Deepika is currently negotiating for 2 crore plus per day. If she gets the price she is asking for, it will catapult her into the biggest league.” More-Info

Raveena Tandon has always been quite vocal in expressing her opinion, whether it is to tell off drunken behaviour at an NRI gathering abroad or to speak up on more homegrown issues like the intolerance debate a few months back. Right after that, when the Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut feud erupted, all of Bollywood was shocked by how a demure yet outspoken outsider in the industry like Kangana could take on a big filmy family like the Roshans, yet most maintained a diplomatic silence on the issue. Soon after Hrithik and Kangana decided to fight out their battle in a court of law and while many wondered if the case need have gone so far, actress Raveena Tandon speaks out once again in her column admiring Kangana's guts and her resolve to stand up for herself.
Here is an excert from Raveena's column as published in an article in Pinkvilla:
"I remember first seeing Kangana when she won the newcomers award at an award show in London many years ago, what really impressed me about her was in her acceptance speech , she humbly stated that I will speak in Hindi as my English is not so good. That statement from her won the audiences heart. She I believe, is someone who will tell the truth, and stand by it. Some do believe and I do too that intimate details about a relationship need not be made public as what happens between two people is for them to know and decide, who are we to judge? But it’s her choice to stand up and fight for if she does feel wronged and believes that she needs to get the truth out in the open .

The industry was and maybe is still a hero oriented where terms and conditions are dictated by super star male actors. But the slight shift is there for all to see. Much before my generation, in the 70’s some heroines were driven to paranoia and ultimately declare schizophrenics and written off. A gorgeous model actress was found dead after being labelled that and another beauty queen/model/actress was beaten up black and blue by a hero husband and his wife! She lost an eye and her career. In 90’s (my generation) the girls fought back but silently. If they spoke, either they were labelled pathological liars or as the macho heroes would show their bravado by threatening in the next glossy headline as how they would smash the girls face or bash her the next time they saw her or she spoke about them – whereas the girls would quietly pick up the pieces of their hearts and careers and try to let their work speak.

Most of the heroines I know secretly might be rooting for Kangana and identifying on some of the points that she’s made. If I applaud Kangana today, is not for that I have already judged who is right or in the wrong, just that it’s high time women find their voice, speak up, and get their due out there." More-Info

The infamous Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut spat which consumed many a media hours made many of us have forgot that Hrithik Roshan has a release coming up this year and it is one mammoth project directed by ace filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar. Gowarikar who is known to excel in his large scale period dramas is teaming up with Duggu for the second time after Jodha Akbar, weaving his plot around the ancient Indus Valley civilization Mohenjo Daro, that dates back to 2600 BC, and was located in the Indian subcontinent.
Almost a year after Hrithik Roshan began work on his periodic drama Mohenjo Daro, the actor finally launched the film’s first motion poster. Sadly to the fan’s dismay, the motion poster didn’t reveal any of the lead characters, but just gave a glimpse of the film’s title.
"Even before the British Raj, Mughals, Christ, Alexander, Buddha and India as we know it, there was Mohenjo Daro", says the motion poster. The film will also star newcomer Poojha Hegde and is slated for release on August 12, 2016. More-Info

There's reason behind why we think Ranveer Singh is the best beau for Deepika Padukone. Not only do they make a fabulous couple, but also far from being coy and secretive, Ranveer Singh is known to wear his heart on his sleeve! He is as amourous in public as he is in private, we guess!
While there are no wedding bells anytime soon for this successful couple, it is believed that families of both the stars have accepted their significant other, so much so that even Ranveer's staff now address Dippy as one of their own, respectfully calling her 'Bhabhiji', reported an article in DNA!
Recently, Ranveer sent his car to fetch Deepika when he was not in town. Says a source in the know, “Even if her chauffeur goes to fetch her, Ranveer makes sure his guy reaches the airport too. Rumours are currently rife about Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra's break-up. While Alia is busy with her film promotions, Sidharth was reported to have flown off to Miami to 'clear his head' way before his next shooting schedule. While rumourmongers didn't spare the chance to link Sidharth with his Baar Baar Dekho co-star Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt with Varun Dhawan, but what actually caught our attention was the news of Sid doing on a dinner date with some mystery girl. But before we could speculate any further, alleged girlfriend Alia took it upon herself to clear the air and put the rumours to rest.
In an article in Bollywood Life, Alia was quoted from her interview with a leading daily during her film promotions where she said, "I haven’t fought with Sid. I don’t have any reason to fight with him. He’ll always be a very close friend. There is no denial that Alia Bhatt is doing extremely well for herself as such a young actress in the industry. She is definitely very much in demand with the filmmakers and this has kept her on her toes as she juggles her schedule between projects. The young actress is now busy with her next film, an unnamed project by Gauri Shinde, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan.
It was no secret that Alia was always an admirer of SRK's work, but after experiencing working with him first hand, the actress has been completely won over and is a true King Khan fan. Admitting it herself at an interview, Alia said in an article in Bollywood Life, "I have definitely become a bigger admirer of him. Singer Sugandha Mishra who initially came as a contestant in a reality singing competition, soon discovered that she had a true gift for comedy. Developing her knack for making people laugh, Sungandha finally came into the spotlight when she mimicked legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar at an awards function. While Sugandha's act elicited many laughs, it did not spare her from the controversy and the backlash, yet she did get off much easier than comedian Tanmay Bhat, who's landed himself in quite a soup with his Snapchat video impersonation of the well known singer.
Sugandha was spared from further criticism when Lata Mangeshkar herself sent her a message appreciating her and expressed a wish to meet her.
However, Sugandha reveals in an article in DNA that she had to face the backlash from some singers and composers. “I was shocked. The same people who had laughed at the event, next day gave quotes about how I had insulted Didi. When I read it, I got goose bumps. But the good thing that came out of the controversy was Lataji herself saw the video and appreciated me. In fact, I have heard from several singers that Didi herself is a good mimic and loves comedy. But about Tanmay, she has said that she doesn’t know who he is neither is she interested in knowing him.”
About Tanmay's act, Sugandha says, "It is in bad taste, there’s nothing funny or humorous in it. It is offending. In fact, the reason I am talking about it is to tell people not to put what he has done and what I did isn’t in the same category. Mimicry is a fine art and a creative expression. What Tanmay has done doesn’t fall in any category. He and the AIB often claim that their humour is of American standard, but they are entertaining the Indian audience, right? Lataji is internationally known and I don’t think even the audience in US will find this funny. Swapping faces and making personal comments is not humour. I have always tried to raise laughter in a creative way.”
“Ninety per cent of the people loved it, and 10 per cent of them felt bad that I mimicked her. They felt Didi ka nahi karna chahiye tha,” she says about her own act. More-Info

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor who is awaiting the release of his film Udta Punjab, will appear in a never seen before avatar of a rock star junkie in the film. The persona he will portray is so far from his real self that critics doubted whether he would be able to live up to the character. But the promos and the trailer of the film have banished all doubts regarding Sasha's acting abilities and we can't wait to watch the film.
Incidentally, when Shahid was preparing to play Tommy Singh, was also the time he first met his lovely wife Mira last year. Shahid was attempting to get into character and had started sporting Tommy's long tresses when he first visited Mira's house. Recalling his first meeting with his in-laws and Mira in an interview in Bombay Times, Shahid said, "Mira and I never dated. We just met three to four times and decided to get married. I was about to start shooting for Udta Punjab when I met first met Mira. I remember I went to her house for the first time and I was in the Tommy zone. So, I had a ponytail, drop-crotch track pants and weird shoes on. I recall getting out of the car in this avatar at Mira’s farmhouse in Delhi. Her dad came out to welcome his son-in-law to be. He saw how I was dressed and he surely thought –‘God what is my daughter getting married to.’ He barely looked at me, then whispered 'Come inside’ and went away. It was adventurous of Mira to agree to marry a guy who looked like Tommy. I also remember telling her -'I am going to colour my hair.' You should have seen her face. She is this 20-something girl coming out of LSR College and she was like 'What?’ And when I told her I am playing a character called Tommy, she said, 'That is not the name of a guy, it is the name of a dog.'"
"Coming back to my hair, the only condition she laid down for me was that when we get married, I will not have coloured hair. She made me promise that when we marry I would sport my normal hair colour. She warned me not wear my hair red on our marriage day. When I married her a month later, I made sure I behaved myself and looked like a decent groom."
And we thank Mira for that! More-Info

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is best known for his meticulousness and attention to detail and this even applies to his search for actors to cast in his films. The director's hunt for his leading lady to play poet Amrita Pritam in Gustakhiyan has so far yielded no firm results, yet the grapevine has been buzzing with rumours that the Bajirao Mastani director has now settled his gaze on Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha actress Bhumi Pednekar.
Bhumi's acting chops do not require any recommendation, as all have witnessed in her debut film and in comparison to top heroines like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, she is far less exposed. A source says in an article published inSpotboyE, “Bhumi is new, talented and not over-exposed. She's busy with Manmarziyan as of now, but she has met officials from Bhansali's team. Let's hope for the best.”
The report also said that Bhansali took over Gustakhiyan a year-and-a-half ago from producer Ashi Dua, who had been struggling to cast the primary characters: Poet-lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi , writer Amrita Pritam and artist-poet Imroz. More-Info
There is something about 2016 that isn't quite sitting well with those in love and in a relationship. This is also one of those years with an unusually high record of breakups and splits between couples. Just a few days ago there were rumours about trouble in Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's marriage, but thankfully those were only rumours considering that the couple were spotted celebrating together. However, this time there have been rumours about trouble in paradise for Dishoom actor John Abraham and wife Priya Runchal. And given their long distance arrangement, these rumours seem quite plausible.
The couple who ties the knot two years ago, seem to be have grown apart due to their work schedules. A source close to John reveals in an article in the Deccan Chronicle, "They’ve drifted apart. There’s nothing seriously wrong between them. But then there was nothing so right between them for things to go wrong."
"The couple is hardly together. Nowadays distance doesn’t make the heart grow fonder, but makes the heart wander. John needs to spend time with his wife. But his career keeps him busy here and she too won’t take time off from her job in the US. She isn’t comfortable with John’s Bollywood friends either," says the source in an article in the Deccan Chronicle.
That's sad, we do hope the couple work out their differences. More-INfo
