Looks like there won’t be any respite for comedian Tanmay Bhat after his huge debacle with the Snapchat spoof on Lata Mangeshkar. Bhat resorted to Sanpchat to create a series of videos mocking legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. However, the videos have resulted in Bhat getting a lot of flak not only from political factions but has also managed to anger sections of the Indian film industry who hold the octogenarian singer in great esteem.
Just when the offended need to be placated, another comedian Gaurav Gera has gone and made a video on Instagram impersonating Lata ji once again, though this time Gaurav as Lata Mangeshkar takes a few pot shots at Tanmay Bhat, comparing him to a ‘sabudana’ that has been soaked in water for too long!
However, he ends the video saying that he is Lata Mangeshkar’s hugest fan and also captions his video saying, “My parents suggested not to put up this video .. But I don't want to live in fear .. And yes am Lata Ji hugest fan.”
Smart move we say, do you think Gaurav will get away with impersonating Lata Mangeshkar?
