Deepika Padukone recently returned to Mumbai last month after completing the shoot of her Hollywood debut and has reportedly been catching up with her other commitments.

From being present at movie screenings to walking the ramp and taking a break with friends, Dippy has been doing it all.

Recently, she was spotted chilling with Ranbir Kapoor and Fawad Khan. Both the actors were shooting for their upcoming filmAe Dil Hai Mushkil at a studio in Mumbai and Deepika was stationed in the adjacent studio.

According to a popular daily, Dippy dropped in on the sets of the movie and was seen hanging out with Fawad and Ranbir. While a lot has been written about her equation with Ranbir, the actress has apparently become great friends with Fawad, and it was recently confirmed that the two will be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. According to reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finalised Fawad Khan to star as Deepika Padukone’s screen husband in his period epic, Padmavati. Reportedly, Fawad was in Mumbai for the past couple of weeks, finalising the deal.

A source was quoted saying, “Bhansali wants 200 days from all his lead actors, including Ranveer Singh (plays Alauddin Khilji) and Deepika (Padmavati). Fawad has those days to spare. In between, he has Karan Johar’s production, but it should not be a problem as KJo and Bhansali share a good equation. So they will work it out. It’s too big an offer for Fawad to pass up.”

The source added, “The first schedule is with Deepika and her husband’s character. The scenes between Deepika and Ranveer are being shot separately as they never meet in the film. Initially, a TV actor was to be signed, but Deepika put her foot down. A random actor from television won’t do for her. Recently there was a strong buzz doing the rounds that there was a cold war going on between Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

Rumours had it that their bone of contention was Ranbir’s ex and Ranveer’s alleged current beau, Deepika Padukone.

Dippy had apparently renewed her friendship with Ranbir while they were shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha, and this was evident while they were promoting the film. There were reports that this hadn’t apparently gone too well with Ranveer, as he often landed up on their sets to keep a check on them, according to certain sources.

However, both Ranbir and Ranveer recently rubbished these rumours, as they danced together to each other’s popular numbers, like Dilliwali Girlfriend, Jumma Chumma and Badtameez Dil.

Incidentally, even Dippy was also a part of the party, and both Deepika and Ranveer had left the venue together.
