It is well known that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s alleged romance came to an end earlier this year and there have been reports doing the rounds about how the actors have been avoiding each other. 

Though the two actors did not go on record to say the reason for their alleged split, Kat recently opened up about certain issues in an interview with a leading daily.

She was quoted saying, "People share things all the time...it doesn't come naturally to me. I fear I might get into a war of words, constantly clarifying myself. I guess there is a positive and negative side to it. But it is something say I have been thinking of doing for a while. All Cancerians are guarded to a certain extent. That's just the way it is. It's also just about being a girl."

She added, "I am not reserved on my own accord but play it safe when it involves another person who is not in your control. Which means, you are going to be speaking for yourself and for that other person, constantly making changes and updates, you know?"

Recently, Udta Punjab has had an unpleasant run-in with the censor board, just few weeks before its release. Recent reports say that the team now wants to employ innovative ways to promote the film.

Apparently, Zee Music, the music label of the film, is planning to promote its music by doing a few city tours with concerts, with the lead actors of the film. Since Shahid plays a rockstar in the film, the filmmakers want him to be an integral part of these promotions.

Marketing Head of Zee Music, Kirthi Rai was quoted saying, “Yes we are planning a few music activities with the lead actors across a few cities to promote the music of the film.”

But rumour has it that Shahid may not be very keen to be on the tour as he apparently wants to spend quality time with his wife, and soon-to-be-mother Mira Rajput.

Aman Gill, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, was quoted saying, “It’s absolutely baseless. In fact Shahid has been there for all the promotional activities across and continues to promote as we speak. Reports are doing the rounds that Saqib Saleem's character in the film is inspired by Virat. Sources have said that he is shown as a cricketer who is on top of his game, playing in best form and making the team win. Apparently, the character gets kidnapped in the film.

Tanmay Bhat's video of a mock conversation between legends Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar has created an uproar with Bollywood celebrities, some of whom have even called it disgusting.

Several political parties have reportedly demanded action against the comedian, and the Mumbai police has even contacted Google and YouTube for blocking the video.
